David Rhoads

David founded ThreePoint Consulting in 2005. He is passionate about helping clients use compensation as a strategic management tool to reinforce desired behaviors and improve performance. David has served as an advisor to over 100 clients in the US and internationally, and he has reviewed and designed hundreds of compensation plans including: bonus plans for senior management, commission-based incentives for sales professionals, cash compensation and equity for partners at global professional service firms, and salaries linked to professional pathways for teachers in the US, China and Brazil.

Before ThreePoint, David was a Partner at LEK Consulting where he advised corporate clients., private-equity owned businesses and family-owned owned companies on growth strategy. His areas of functional expertise include organization effectiveness, M&A Due Diligence, market sizing and attractiveness, and compensation. Prior to that, he was a Global Partner at SCA Consulting where he founded their European Business and built a thriving practice with annual revenues of $4.0 million.

In addition to ThreePoint, David is a founding Partner at Fahrenheit Consulting Group. Fahrenheit advises clients on evaluating major investment decisions and developing growth strategies.

David has a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School and a B.A. in Communications from Annenberg, both at the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the University of Chicago. Until recently, he was on the Board of Michelman Inc. for 10 years, where he was the first non-family member to Chair the board’s Executive Compensation & Leadership Development Committee.

When David is not working with his clients, he enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, and reading a good book.
