APPROACH
|
|
Over the course of 2 months, ThreePoint Consulting:
- Clarified school leader priorities and plans to expand student services
- Interviewed directors at larger therapeutic day schools to learn what grants have been obtained in recent years
- Interviewed school leaders at nearby districts to learn about the requirements of their special needs students and what selection process they use to place students in therapeutic day schools
- Completed extensive research to identify a comprehensive list of databases and clearinghouses of information on relevant funding sources
- Created a database of relevant grants including descriptions,
requirements, contact information, and deadlines
- Developed an action plan to organize and execute the school’s grant writing effort
